As part of their CSR programme, Esprit invested over 7 million Euros in building a village for orphaned children in Mumbai, India.
The orphanage became a key part of their marketing strategy with the launch of The Big Bang Day – an opportunity for shoppers to make their bang count, supporting the charity by banging a drum in store. Create was commissioned by lead production company Mass Movement to plan and produce a radio, outdoor and experiential advertising campaign in 11 cities worldwide.
Create also headed off to India, with Catch Films, to film a documentary with Hollywood A-listers Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard. This doco was shown worldwide in Esprit stores and online at esprit.com.
